Château Marcel

Château Marcel is a 19th-century manor house in the medieval wine-growing village of Cesseras in the Minervois region of the Hérault department in Occitanie.
The château itself consists of three self-contained apartments, each with two bedrooms (sleeping four people, with the possibility of accommodating an additional child or adult by mutual agreement) and two studios (sleeping two people), converted into self-catering holiday rentals. All apartments and studios have been awarded four stars by the Hérault Tourism Board. The apartments and studios have been modernized with respect for the original features, such as the preservation of the authentic floors, walls, and fireplaces.
The kitchens are equipped with all the necessary amenities in both the apartments and studios (dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils, microwave oven, gas stove with oven in the apartments, and a two-burner electric stove in the studios). All apartments are equipped with fans, and both studios have air conditioning.
On the ground floor there is a utility room where a washing machine is available for shared use. There are also 2 mountain bikes at your disposal.
There is an idyllic courtyard with a small swimming pool. The central corridor of Château Marcel leads to the south terrace.
René and Conny Withofs, a multilingual Belgian couple, fulfilled their dream by purchasing Château Marcel in 2018.
